It is an undeniable fact that most of us if not all of us are already engrossed with the wonders of the computer. Most of the students today opt to open their computers for programs like Encarta instead of a dictionary just to look for meanings of words. Topics are now being researched in the Internet instead of going to the library and reading books. Nowadays, most of the recently visited websites are You Tube and Face Book just to see updates on the activities of people, changes of events, celebrities, breakthroughs, and innovative progress and development of a certain institution.

                A CNN lady anchor interviewed Prof. Alexandra Juhasz and student Miranda Perry of Pitzer College, California on Learning from YouTube Curriculum. The above mentioned academe allows You Tube as the center point of interactions from downloading and uploading assignments, comments, reactions on topics learned by posting their works as videos or as printed documents.

                Things change and transform, they say, and getting out of the usual practice and traditional way of teaching – learning process within the classroom, using the internet particularly Learning from You Tube Curriculum Technology advanced system of learning. Students learn to maximize the use of computer, surf the Internet, and will have abundant choices of related readings to pick from. Aside from these skills, students will discover their graphic skills, and learn animation through motion presentations, among others.

                Learning from You Tube Curriculum could be one of the timely innovative answers of our basic education especially in secondary, the intermediate, and the elementary levels in our country if given a thorough consideration among curriculum designers and planners, though this entails extra – precautionary schemes in the pilot implementations.
