Motivation is essential in any teaching and learning situations. It is a fundamental among teaches to make learning activity more interesting to the learner.

Learners must be motivated before learning takes place. The teacher can help motivate the learner by bringing him to see the connection between the problem and his important goals.

Motivation arouses child’s interest to the lesson. It is the dynamic force that energizes behavior. It compels the child to act and to interact. It heightens their interest in the task at hand.

Teachers can stimulate interests with different pupils. Positive stimulation in the form of praise and rewards rather than negative stimulation in the form of blame and punishment. Praise influences the poor students most motivating them to perform better. Continuous motivation is essential in developing concentration of attention. It can’t be denied that attention of the learner fluctuates from one stimulus to another. Attention once gained through motivation should be maintained through the period.
