A decade is a long run for every person who wants to upgrade themselves. Those years are years of failure, improvement, achievements, loss and success. On my current perspective, I can freely choose which way to go, to become a failure? Or a successful one? What am I after ten years? Who am I going to be?
From this moment, the ten long years will be the most professional years of my life. That is the time where I will live a life in my profession and be with people who have more experience than me. I will surround myself with people that will influence me to become someone better, holding a high degree in the future. Personal experiences with those people have a big gap between the learnings from the textbooks, and aside from my future learnings with them, I will take Masters degree and if I can still make it to Doctorate Degree, I will do that because I want to be the best version of myself.
I don’t have an ideal school to go after I pass the board exam, but one thing is for sure, my work place will depend based on my residency during that time.
I will rediscover myself and will enhance all my skills and abilities, because that will be an edge for me to teach my students in a fair manner. I will be a teacher who didn’t focus on paper and pencil assessments or on the cognitive domain, just like many teachers are doing, but instead, I will explore myself first and connect with my students. I will be a versatile teacher in which majority of my students will be having their shot in the classroom, not just those students who are good academically, but also students who have the talents, who have special gifts, who are interested beyond what is being discussed in the daily classroom set-up.
Every child is special. Before I unlock those special abilities of my students, it will be better if I will unlock all my abilities and enhance it for the next ten years of my life.
