15 years ago, the First Prologue of Graduation of Nagbalayong National High School of Morong, Bataan articulated primary education as set of guiding the very first graduates of its own, and a range of approaches for addressing yesterday, today and tomorrow.
The ambition of Yesterdays’ prefaced like this…
“We left our childhood spirit facing the most challenging task… the High School Life; leaving the footstep of being innocent and tracing the strength of our “authentic personality”… We lived with determination, creating the best that we can be. The burning torch is in the end, someday we can.”
Leaving our childhood life is hard to do because every single moment of being innocent will remain a memory that will last forever; facing another stage of our life is harder being a person with determination and working on things with the best that we can… it is considered as the best and most challenging part of the teenagers’ life the high school life.
The introduction of Today proceeded like this…
“As we glance back the past… and the doubtful and unpredictable feeling washed with four years staying in our Alma Mater our precious blood, sweat and tears are now paid with our accomplishments…”
Glancing back of the past; still the memories of their childhood life remains, but now they can say that they are different from the past; that they have changed; because today they are stronger, stronger to fight the hindrances that come to their way. And now they are wiser, wiser to think when and how they can reach for their goals. All of these changes were brought by their most respected Alma Mater that after a long time of preparations, now they can, they can face whatever tomorrow brings them.
The Tomorrow prologuized like this…
“Keep on leaving, seeking and dreaming… reaching for the “star”; whatever hindrances that comes our way, we will strive for that… seeking the reality of life, living and dreaming for our success truly there is a time for everything. The diplomas, gifts and applause… evidence of intelligence and inspiration. The well-developed tree is no one simply well-rooted nor with giant branches; nor resplendent with rich foliage; but a full bloom and productive tree.”
Unmindful of what lies ahead but they will go on to conquer all obstacles, to solve the problem, they will reap the fruit of the large and productive tree and keeping the banner of NNHS on top.
A four years of hardship and perseverance, they are now entering a new chapter of their lives. Leaving the Alma Mater, is not an end but a beginning of a heavier and more challenging role as an active participant of our country. Our future will depend on how much effort and commitment they are willing to exert to attain their goals. Graduation is a grand time for a learner to reap the fruit of years of enduring studies, of endless trainings, long years of discipline and mental exercises. “Graduation commences a more confusing and sophisticated struggle in academic excellence and survival…” a great school division superintendent once said.
As they embark new crossroads in their lives, they won’t fail to look behind and thank those who have given their share in molding them as useful members of society, their parents, their teachers and the municipality are confident that they will contribute in the task of building a better tomorrow for the next generation. Equipped with “educational skills” imbed with values and inspired by lives and heroism of great men and women of their time. With the best education under the unsolicited guidance of their mentors and loving parents; Alumni will vanguard of this country against the evil of poverty, moral degradation and social indifference.
It begins the search for new horizons and with all the learning that have acquired; alumni will be able to walk through the difficult path of life with certainty and conviction. In fervent hopes that as alumnus go further to find meaning in his life, he will always keep his head up high radiating his beat that he can be whatever he does; looking back to the past and returning back to his future his Alma Mater.
