In order to achieve an education within the reach of the community , the Department of Education has set up a program called School Based Management .

             This program is based on Republic Act 7166 on the Philippine based Government Code of 1991 and Republic Act 9155 which is an act instituting a framework of governance for basic education .

              It is also the decentralization of the decision-making  power from the central or state to the individual schools to promote effective schools .

              Now , speaking of decentralization , the levels of authority that should be decentralized to the school to improve its performance include ; funds , knowledge , power , technology and materials, people or  time  .

               The decentralization of decision-making power is also aimed to improve student performance through the active participation of the stakeholders .

               Teamwork is also the essence of school based management . This is teamwork among teachers , principals and other stakeholders .

School Based Management has been practiced all over the country and as a result the school’s vision is realized .
