Teachers are among the avid users of social media.  They fully realized that it is beneficial in their teaching profession, likewise to their students.  Social media give one a chance to mix with people from all over the world. This helps maintain relationships easily.

            Social media made the world a smaller place, now we have more information, more knowledge and better opportunities which can be used by teachers in the classroom.Teachers may have a big chance of knowing the patterbs for the trends to come that are worthy of paying attention to.

            Majority of the content for reports in education provides excellent insight into educational technology where education experts exchange ideas and in discourse.

            Social networking is as important for teacher as it is for others. While social media is a handy tool in the classroom teaching it can also be as beneficial outside the classrooms. A teacher can benefit from social networking in a number of ways:

            Teacher can share ideas – social networks allow teachers to share ideas with each other. Comparing notes on classroom teaching techniques, peer teaching and learning styles can help you enhance the learning experience in the classroom. A teacher can also share lesson plans and visual aids ideas.

            Partnership with other schools – social networking allows teacher to connect and bench mark with other teachers in other school. These partnerships are useful as they help you to keep abreast of change in curriculum and content in other states and maybe even in other countries.

           

            There is strong if not overwhelming evidence that behavior patterns of students, educators, employees and professionals are moving towards ther use of social tools for learning, working and teaching. 

             Collaborating seamlessly face to face and at a distance, bringing the human element to virtual interactions, and persdonalized learning will prevail in the coming years, each facilitated by technology.  Teachers will be more inspired and encouraged to use other aspects of social media that can be used in class.  Lessons will be facilited and made clearer through the use of this technology.  Social media can be turned positively as a motivational strategy.

            Teachers will realize that that social media is a powerful tool for them that can be used either for personal and professional means.
