TEACHERS ARE ACTORS

DOUBTFUL… UNCERTAIN… UNDECIDED… Emotions that kept on circling inside my heart ten years ago.   Discouraged by tons of paperwork’s, sleepless exam preparations, and tiring daily plans, still I pursued. One…two…three years passed tired yet rewarded I embraced the word of  noblest people. THE TEACHERS!

Being a teacher is being an actor who plays many roles in the society.  Roles that people around  us expect us to perform at all times.  In Short we have to be a little bit of everything.  Despite being a multiple task maker we are judge just because of simple mistakes.  Hurting but true.  What can we do?  We cannot  control their hearts and minds.  The only thing is  proved to them that we are more what they say.

KRINNGGG…..Signals our long day work.  Everything is set, the stage and cameras, the reporters and audiences and of course us the actors

`           We start from a simple smile  and greet them and continue to perform our roles. Memorize script for the day, we act in front. Time passed swiftly for the director’s famous line “ CUT!”  Every crew pack up for break and make up retouch. Then the professionals we are, even food are not properly chewed not done with personal callings we need to recommence our taping.

KRINNGGG…comes from another shoot. Take two” ‘Action!” same level of performance is expected upon. An Oscar Awardee type of performance day by day.  We need to be an award winning comedian, dramatic actor/ actress, director in front of our beloved audience.  We are sometimes hate and love by them but one thing is for sure, we love our fans the way we love ourselves.

Despite of   many roles we play everyday, we manage to cope and survive. Our world is not the happiest but  I can say… one of the most wonderful indeed!

At the end of the day, the only we ask is a simple tap and a short thank you.
