Teaching, a noble profession that demands service, perseverance, patience, enthusiasm, knowledge, and positive attitude.An act of kindness seen not merely by words but indeed through actions. Teachers are known to be creative turning nothing into excellent creations of materials and classroom environment. Likewise teachers are patient to understand the behavior and weaknesses of children. These attributes of teachers added some spice to the progress of the teaching and learning process.
Teachers should be empowered in all aspects. First spiritually, in order to apply and show the values to be enculcated to pupils because being a model will be the assurance of learning once the pupils adopt the spiritual values of a teacher. Secondly, intellectually in a sense that we are the spring of knowledge of pupils. It is important that teachers are empowered intellectually. For we should not forget to watch our thoughts for they become our words. Teachers should be empowered emotionally, simply because emotions provide the dynamics of relationship. Emotions when mishandled might hurt ourselves or others. We, teachers should be the instrument of God’s love. Teachers should serve as an inspiration to learners for them to continue to dream for their future. Furthermore teachers should be empowered socially, having a positive social life. Someone with integrity in the society.Showing how important in taking the position with authority doing his/her role with integrity not affected by the temptation of the society. And last but not the least, teachers should empowered financially. Jesus said it is more bless to give than to receive. Teachers are generous in giving, surely when God sees your heart in giving generously the more He will bless you. Teachers should not only look at the needs of pupils in the teaching and learning instead the needs for support whenever needed. For a productive learning process, teachers should be empowered spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially and financially.
