Teaching is no different from any ordinary job. It needs tact, it needs patience, it needs a system. The value of hard work, honesty, and sincerity make teachers’ job a success. Successful teachers have found teaching a very enjoyable job. Indeed it is. There can no better task than to teach young people and see them grow, see them bloom and flower to manhood.

                Teaching is not an easy job, but it can be made easy too. Understand our job in relation to the school program. Share cooperatively with other teachers in the school and even to other schools. Be involved in school activities and participate in home and community projects. Make the climate in the classroom conducive to learner’s growth and learning. Maintain class discipline for better results in teaching. Acquire high ideals and show love for children. Welcome suggestions willingly and make improvements, if necessary. Take advantage of the many opportunities available to you. Be punctual and regular in attendance. Have the possible appearance each day. Get along nicely with our co – workers, parents and other people. Most of all, consider the learners as the center of the educative process.

                Now, my brothers and sisters in service, make an honest evaluation of yourself, as a teacher. Read over and over the “Code of Ethics” for teachers. In your honest and candid opinion, do you deserve to carry the zeal of a human molder and keep it in yourself forever?
