The best educator is what the field of education needs right now and how to become one needs certain distinctive traits to be possessed, to wit:
Knowledgeable. The foremost thing to have is knowledge. A teacher must have a comprehensive knowledge in his/her field, being filled with brilliant and great ideas.
Flexible. He/she must be a person who can strike anywhere and who does a lot of things and could easily adjust to situations.
Patient. He/she should have enough patience to deal with all the challenges and adversities in the field of education.
Resourceful. In order to achieve the best teaching, a teacher should look for all possible resources in order to make the teaching-learning process a great success.
Creative. In order to make the class more lively and animated, the teacher must show creativity not only in instructional materials but also in various class activities.
Child-centered. Always remember that the center of learning is the child. Focus the teaching-learning process on the child itself, on his/her development and growth.
Technologically advanced. Make use of the modern technology in executing the lessons in the class.
Approachable. A teacher must have a big heart to understand and a huge ear to listen most especially to answer student’s difficulties and sentiments.
Kind, Nice or pleasing. As the saying goes smile attracts, frown repels, a child likes a kind or nice teacher. Always bear in mind that the learners would love a teacher
