There are several ways to teach mathematics in the best way a teacher can.    In doing this, the instructional practices may be enhanced and become better.

Make use of modern technology. We all know for a fact that we are living in the modern world.  Using technology in teaching mathematics is very convenient and innovative. We have to leave the traditional ones and be able to adapt the contemporary ones.  Modern technology will be instrumental in making the teaching instructions be more creative and more dynamic.

Utilize children’s game or play.  Have the students feel the zest of studying through various games and plays in the school most especially in studying mathematics. The learners are engaging in worthwhile games and learning eagerly at the same time.  Let them experience a unique undertaking where the joy of play and essence of learning are evident.

Another great way to teach mathematics is through collaborative learning.  The teachers will form groups out of the population of learners and then these learners are responsible for themselves and for the rest of the group in sharing knowledge and ideas.  Having them work independently as a group sharpens their mind and develops cooperation among them.

Have the students show their natural abilities and creativity.  Have them be indulged in learning activities where they will show their inner intelligence in mathematics.  Manifesting what they have in mind regarding mathematics is good for they will share it to the group and this will show natural ability and creativity.

Further enhance their problem solving powers.  The students are great potentials in solving various math problems.  Expose them to various math problems which will tickle their minds and will transform them to be more critical.  In doing such, they will develop more powers in solving mathematical problems.

Have challenging assessments which will further test their abilities.  The teacher being the primary agent in teaching should conduct tests which will measure the skills taught to their students.  It is gratifying on the part of the learners if they see themselves progressing in their school.
