There are leaders who seem to be on the edge of time. They are always in a hurry and become a bit stoic that they never betray any emotion.
It is always a blessing to see a calm, cool and collected leader who remains the same even in the midst of a crisis situation. It may take time to develop such a leader. But everything is a work in progress.
Calm leaders are always ready to receive correction and have high tolerance for difficult challenges. How they did it? They always leave a room for improvement and monitor the development within. On their minds, they appreciate the need to develop themselves first before they can lead others.
The calmness of a leader is very vital in the midst of crisis situation. With the changes in the educational system, almost every moment is crisis moment. ‘
And it pays that in such situation, a leader should always be calm and composed.
An article by Francis J. Kong, “Business Matters”, shared these thoughts on calm leadership:
“ Leaders grow themselves more than others.
Leaders work harder than others.
Leaders discipline themselves more than others.
Leaders sacrifice more than others.
Leaders think deeper than others.
Leaders are more patient than others.
Leaders smile longer than others.
And this is why leaders get paid more than others.”
