Science is said to be one of the most interesting subjects in the field of education.  Since science is very much relevant in our everyday living, it is essential that a teacher must consider the superlative practices in imparting it in order for the child to enjoy and learn all the things in it. To wit:

Science teachers should allow the students to actively engage in scientific practices like conducting experiments, conducting investigations, collaborating with their peers and development of representation of various phenomena.  In this way the science students would be able to experience the actual learning of the facts in the subject.

After searching for the facts or data, the teacher should instruct the students to make sense of the data through analysis and verification, have discussions of the gathered information and reflect on the results for finalization.  The teacher should motivate the child to make use of critical thinking in studying science subject.

Furthermore, the teacher should advance the students’ conceptual understanding through additional knowledge and questions that would stimulate their minds and interests.

Moreover, the teacher should set standards and rubrics once the students are having activities.  In this way, they are being well-guided and having specific objectives to attain.

In addition, the science teachers should let the students articulate their ideas through classroom performance that would invite their effort and enthusiasm to share.  Do it regularly for the students to be used to this kind of practice.

Finally, the teacher should instil in the mind and heart of every student that a learner should come to school with powerful resources from books, from the internet and other available resources.
