Training program has found a very important role in enhancing teacher/employee performances. It has become a common term or a byword in any school or office. Like, a new teacher has been hired, he needs training to cope with the activities in school. An employee was contracted for office job. The boss .says he needs training, so a newly approved plan will be implemented to enhance their performances.
Training is basically a process of effecting a particular set of behavior in an individual to improve his present and future performances as a teacher or office employee. This is done thru various teaching and learning approaches; techniques intended to influence the level and kind of knowledge, certain attitude and particular skills to help the trainee transform a habit of productive work and harmonious relationship with co-workers.
Training has to go hand in hand with practical experiences, actual work performances and time to achieve job proficiency. This is a concern of development. It provides the teacher or employee a systematic way of progressing in his job and preparing for future promotion.
Thus, training program is a total enhancement aid to teacher and employee to become a better person and a productive teacher or employee.
