Education plays a very significant role in the lives of many people. It is one of the most powerful tools in achieving success and foundation towards having a good life. It is said that there is learning when there is a change in behavior.

     In school, teachers themselves are the agents of morality. They build and mold young minds. It is through the hands of the dedicated and committed teachers who are imparting knowledge and equipping skills that pupils began to change. These changes lead them to be righteous in their actions.

     Nowadays, children are much more exposed to different kinds of violence in many ways which is one of the factors that cause deterioration of moral values. All teachers should take a strong stand in inculcating values to students. There are many ways on how to foster moral development among the students.

     1. Establish love of God and instill the value of obeying His commandments.

     2. Read stories and discuss the moral lesson.

     3. Use the modern technology devices to expose pupils in viewing meaningful stories.

     4. Praise pupils who showed admirable conduct.

     5. Practice what you preach. Do what you say.

     6. Set goals and standards.

     7. Encourage pupils and be supportive of their ideas and feelings.

     8. Listen to learners as they share. Exert effort and quality time guiding them.

     9. Agree on classroom and school rules and regulations.

     10. Live with the values demonstrated daily. Remember that the values instilled in the heart are

     unforgettable.
