One class after the other, students will come and go…

Teaching is a noble profession if not the noblest. It is the reason why a teacher has to learn to develop the craft, everyday be it in classroom or at the home front. Lessons to plan and lecture on, grades to compute and register and other taxing matters to settle; inclusive of the expected and the unexpected consequences; Three words to describe a teacher’s life “ be ready anytime ! ”

A certified educator has the responsibility to model the standards not only inside the classroom but in the community as well. With the responsibility on one’s shoulders are the duties in shaping the future of the students. The accountability will not stop as to the number of passers produced after the school year has been done with. Rather, it rests in contemplating after completing the school year with a hanging question left that is, “ where do the honors go ?

An effective and efficient teacher cannot be gauged by the number of students with honors produced under his/her guidance. It is the promise of the future that the educator has given the learners to carry on in their respective careers in life.

It is to be considered a blessing for a teacher when one fine day comes that a former student will say “ I made it and thank you so much !”
