Have you noticed the top news of the country?  It’s almost a very sad story to note why criminality exists in our midst.

            As a teacher I keep a mood to fonder, where and we failed when society is robbed of snatching, robbery, killings and more so of corruptions in our midst. From pre-elementary we started to impost the value of good manners and right conduct until one is graduated in college level. The difference is only the term use in character building. But as one step out of his school there’s a new person you will see in your student. You will see some bully people theft disrespectful and some are believe to be dishonest. How truly instruction works? As if it did not reach the inner moral fibber of the person although this is only a little percent of those who are well mannered and we call them educated. He maybe well developed person holistically but the small percentage is a reminder to us educator on how we can improve our curriculum, strategies and learning styles in value education in order that our teaching be more meaningful.

            Let us start to be role models in values so that our students will learn the value we want to impost. Let us be the medium in the value we teach in such a way that they will be able to grasp the meaning of the value we want to teach. So we hope that all our pupils will grow morally and would be good citizens.
