Educators who are teaching from nursery up to tertiary level must know the roundabouts of their learners’ needs according to their level or the capacity of thinking and interests. Many educators find it very simple because they really know and they are aware of what they teach according to the program or curriculum under the different respective subject areas. Nevertheless, some mentors find it very intricate to handle their classes because they don’t know the needs of their pupils or students or probably their means when it comes to strategies and ideas have already reached the limit.

Professional Advancement of teachers by means of attending appropriate seminars and attending schools that offer worthy interactions plays an essential role in maintaining the good quality of imparting knowledge to the learners. It aids them to know what to instruct and it also develops their integrity as managers of the classroom. More so, professional growth, perhaps is an effective way to better understand the right necessities of learners as much as their level of comprehension is concerned.

We often hear the adage “You can’t give what you don’t have” which proposes that we must possess the things we want to offer. This logic is so true on the part of the instructor inside or even outside the four corners of the classroom. It would be just a mundane task for him to share his thoughts if at the same time he also attends graduate school or seminars and the like which may end to professional development. Therefore teachers who engage and initiate to take part in professional advancement will create a great impact to attain a good quality of education.

Henceforth,the vision of the government under the Department of education to develop Filipinos/studentsto become competent will never be just in words nor will be in a hopeless case instead it will be achievable through our competent teachers who are considered as the second parents of the learners.
