The Provincial Health Office (PHO) recently held its annual TB Day Celebration  last May 31,2016 at Crown Royale Hotel Balanga City Bataan with a theme “ Sama-samang hanapin, gamutin at pagalingin lahat, end TB”.  It was attended by different TB treatment partners including doctors, nurses, midwives,medtechs, BHW’s and BNS.  An overwhelming remark was given by Board Member Jose Villapando.  The said program is composed of two parts. The first part is about TB statistics and updates which was well-explained by Ms. Sarah Villaroel. Different DOTS facilities were discussed as well as the vitality of the treatment.

The latter part of the program is very exciting since the “Search for TB Ambassadress was joined by different candidates (BHW’S) from different municipalities around Bataan.  Candidates have shown their talents and understanding about TB as they answer the questions given to them by the panel of judges.

The success of the program was made possible through the help of PHO, LGU’s and TB treatment partners.
