The success of a nation depends largely upon its growing young population. In the essence of a democratic way of life, the development of every individual is a universally accepted aim of education. Education plays a vital role in the progress and development of any nation. The Revised Basic Education Curriculum was envisioned to develop among students vital work skills, knowledge and information, and work ethics essential for making an intelligent career choice for specialized training in specific areas. This provides the students basic skills and principles as well as relates values pertinent to the home and the world of work, molding them into a worthy, responsible, and productive individual in the society.

                With these integrations in Technology and Livelihood Education, the teacher should undergo a thorough preparation of his task. He must be equipped with sufficient knowledge and technical know – how in the implementation of the Revised Basic Education Curriculum for the attainment of goals and objectives. With the strains of life today, the society is still undergoing vast changes. It cannot be denied that the teaching – learning situation should also go with the changes. Problems will certainly arise, and that is why TLT teachers should always be alert and tactful in creating solutions to any problem they may encounter in order to meet the needs and answer the demands of our times.
