Drug problem is indeed one of the burdens of parents today. As guardians, they should know how to deal with the issue so they could save their children and also themselves form pains and heartaches because many parents do not know how to address and deal with it. Despite the shocking news on drug control nowadays, some parents are not bothered regarding this matter due to their false impressions and perhaps due to lack of knowledge.

            To resolve the growing issues on drugs, the school together with the school nurses must conduct seminars to highlight basic parenting duties and how to educate their children on the harmful effect to drugs on health. Since drug addiction is a progressive disease, both the parents and the school children need to understand the important facts and findings about it. Film clips and videos on Drug prevention could help a lot to resolve this problem.

            Since the exposure on drugs occur in the late elementary grades and at first year of high school, it is best to discuss this matter to the children at an early stage. Parents and teachers should set as role model to their children to help them develop a happy and healthy environment. Introducing them to valuable activities like Sports and Games could help a lot. Parents and School nurses play an important role to fight Drug Addiction around us.
